My day off from work was spent... at work? Sad but true. But I wasn't doing what I would normally do, oh no. I was learning how to work the design computer. Whoot! For you see... I work at an embriodery shop. We also sell uniforms as well, mostly to police and fire fighters and wow do they tell some great stories to us. But back to the design computer! I learned how to make name, words stuff like that. After several hours of fooling about I figured out how to center and how not too. Played with some funky fonts and came home with a disc of about 4 or 5 dozen different designs. The only bad thing was I couldn't figure out how to put a border around the words to turn them into patches but working on that. Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to post a picture called patch dump of all the things I will have made.

Another nice thing is that I have free reign to use the shop basically whenever I want after hours. This might come in very handy for cosplay and steampunk costumes. I have so many possibilities and ideas running around my head it isn't even funny. In fact... I'm off to take a motrin. Or find a piece of paper to write them all down on.
